Melissa Fishing Riviera Maya, was born with the acquisition of a 38-foot long bertram-type boat a few years ago, for recreational and sport fishing by us, a native family of Playa del Carmen that had its beginnings in riverine fishing activities that through the years, it was evolving and learning techniques.

Mia is a great boat for sport fishing, we have it armed so that it is very comfortable and wide to be able to trolling, bottom fishing and other types of fishing. The boat is in perfect condition, it has rod holders, bridge teaser reels, fishing chair, salt and fresh water hose to cool off on board, good shaded area both in the fishing area to wait for the action and also on the bridge.
We have good sound equipment, from the best brand that is JL audio, navigation equipment and fishfinder from the Garmin brand with a 1 KW transducer, connectors for electric reels, the interior of the boat has a full bathroom, air conditioning, kitchen and a nice area to rest. Ideal for fishing with a family looking for their first marlin and sailfish.

Note: the trip will always have a captain and a mate for the service of clients.
The schedules can be determined by the client as long as there is availability, the trips will always be private, they are not shared with other clients.
Regardless, we always recommend if the departure is in the morning that it be at 8:00 AM and if it is in the evening that it is 2:00 PM.

Yes it is the same.
Can the trip be rescheduled if there is bad weather on the originally scheduled day?
Yes, the trip can be rescheduled.
Where do the boats come from?
From the marina of Puerto Aventuras, Mexico.
Where should I stay if I’m going fishing with you?
At any hotel on the Riviera Maya, driving distances are very short to reach the marina.
What do I need to bring to the trip?
You are free to bring the drinks and food you want, highly recommended sunscreen, towels, hats and light clothing.
Can I keep the fish that I caught?
If the client can keep the catch and he decides what to do with it, our crew can fillet the fish if they wish.
What is the fishing limit?
We are based on the Mexican fishing law that has some restrictions. Species such as Marlin and Sailfish are exclusively catch and release.
Do you occupy electric or manual reels?
We have all types of specific reels for each type of fishing.
How likely is it that I will catch the fish I am looking for?
Every effort will be made to capture this species but it is fishing not catching.
